The Sunflower Project aims to support women entrepreneurs to establish rural sunflower processing units. These units give small holders the opportunity to increase their income through  sale of the oil at village level and sunflower cake in animal feed.

The program establishes farming and processing groups that benefit from provision of seed, farming knowledge support, leadership training,  business training, and market access support.

Business Training includes:

  • Product Consistency
  • Pricing
  • Financial Management
  • Market Access
  • Sustainable Business

Currently 25 NABW members are benefiting from this program.
